Ayr, Carrick & Cumnock Constituency MP welcomes improvements for domestic bulk LPG Customers
The Office of Fair Trading has announced it has secured voluntary agreements from the major liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) suppliers to make changes to domestic bulk customers. The OFT action follows on from its 2011 Off-Grid Energy Market study which identified concerns that some suppliers may not be treating their domestic bulk LPG customers fairly.
Sandra said:
I welcome the news. Customers will better understand pricing and let them know their rights to switch suppliers and cancel contracts. I am aware of cases where constituents who purchase LPG have felt the cost is unfairly priced. This will make for better transparency and will give customers a greater understanding of their rights.
