Ayr Carrick and Cumnock MP Welcomes Lottery Funding for Local School
Sandra Osborne MP today welcomed the news that Greenmill Primary School in Cumnock has received an award of £2000 from the Big Lottery Fund’s 2014 Communities Programme. The school will use the funding to provide coached lunchtime and afterschool sessions in dance and tae kwon do to all pupils.
Sandra Osborne said:
‘I am delighted that Greenmill Primary has received this award. The Big Lottery Fund’s 2014 Communities Programme aims to stimulate grass roots involvement in sport and physical activity and to build up a legacy of well being before and beyond the 2014 Commonwealth Games.’
