Labour MP pleased to hear that Police and Trading Standards still working on Legal Highs Problem.
Labour MP, Sandra Osborne has said that she was pleased to hear that Strathclyde Police and South Ayrshire Consumer and Trading Standards officers had recently taken part in a joint operation to take any necessary enforcement action in relation to so called legal highs being sold in South Ayrshire.
Sandra said:
I am pleased that these two agencies are keeping on the case of legal highs. These are problem products which have serious and sometimes fatal consequences for consumers and communities.’
Sandra said that she will continue to keep in touch with the Police and Consumer and Trading Standards about the work they are doing to prevent any harmful consequences from the use of so called legal highs and she has promised her full support for their efforts in this area.
