Labour MP Sandra Osborne has declared her support for Holocaust Memorial Day on January 27th.
Sandra said:
I fully support Holocaust Memorial Day as it provides an opportunity for everyone to learn the lessons from the Holocaust which took place during the second world war . During this tragic period the Nazis murdered six million men, women and children in an industrialised massacre now referred to as the Holocaust. Unfortunately since the Holocaust we have also seen genocide and mass killing take place in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.
Sandra said :
On Holocaust Memorial Day I will be joining millions of others across the globe to remember and reflect on what we need to do to create a more peaceful and just world in the future.
