MP Welcomes Awards for All Funding to Local Groups
Sandra Osborne MP has today congratulated local groups which have successfully applied for Awards for All funding.
South Ayrshire Visually Impaired Children has received £4,160 which it will use to help local children with a
variety of visual impairments to enjoy a weekend at the Calvert Trust Outdoor Centre in the Lake District.
Kincaidston Primary School has received £9,800 to help organise and deliver a new extra-curricular outdoor activity programme for Primary 6 pupils. Activities will include raft building, rafting, adventure walks, bushcraft, canoeing, gorge walking, coasteering and conservation activities.
Maidens Primary School has received £4,950 to help redevelop and expand their existing eco-garden into an outdoor classroom where children can learn about biodiversity/wildlife and also attend outdoor activities.

‘I am delighted that these three local groups have received this funding and wish them all the best for the
future’.
